We cook the way you do--when you have the time. |
About Private ChefChef Carole Cancler
has enjoyed a lifelong love affair with cooking. A Seattle native, she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Washington. She also studied at several schools in France, including Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
In 1990, she began traveling internationally, most often to attend cooking schools, explore food markets, and taste the cuisines of the places she visits. She has traveled by jet, train and ship to 20 countries, including France, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Turkey, and Thailand. Still on her list of places to see (but not limited to!) are India, Greece, Peru, Argentina, and Tahiti. She loves studying about the anthropology of food—particularly how indigenous foods have traveled and been integrated throughout the world. Carole inherits her mother’s Slovenian farm legacy. Read about farming and find seasonal recipes in her column Seattle Farmers Market Examiner. A freelance technical writer specializing in business and technical documents, Carole also owns Greater Seattle On The Cheap, featuring free and cheap things to do in the Seattle area. Chef Cancler and her staff are dedicated to creating the highest quality meals--the same way you do when you have the time. Meals are prepared with care in small batches using only the finest ingredients. Our frozen dinners use innovative flash freezing techniques to lock in the fullest flavor and are family approved! When you order from Private Chef your family will feel like you're really taking care of them.
